Reach Out Grand Bahama was founded in 2007 by Dudley and Katie Seide, two people who understood the challenges facing Grand Bahama’s youth firsthand.
What began as a commitment to give back has grown into a trusted community organization serving young people and families through mentorship, education, recreation, nutrition, outreach, and disaster relief.
Reach Out does more than respond to immediate needs. We help young people discover their potential, develop confidence, and believe that a better future is possible.
To empower young people, strengthen families, and build healthier communities through mentorship, education, leadership development, service, and practical support.
A Grand Bahama where every young person has access to positive role models, safe spaces, meaningful opportunities, and the resources needed to thrive.
Reach Out provides mentorship, educational support, recreation, leadership development, and positive experiences that help young people build confidence and direction.
Feeding initiatives, school-supply drives, seasonal giveaways, referrals, and community outreach help families meet immediate needs while remaining connected to support.
When Hurricane Dorian devastated Grand Bahama in 2019, Reach Out helped feed families, distribute supplies, coordinate support, and rebuild hope in the community.
From daily programs to emergency response, Reach Out remains committed to showing up for Grand Bahama’s youth and families when support is needed most.
Founded and led by people who understand Grand Bahama’s challenges firsthand, Reach Out remains deeply connected to the communities it serves.
We believe every contribution should support real programs, real people, and clearly defined community priorities.
From youth mentorship and feeding programs to disaster relief and recovery efforts, Reach Out continues to make a lasting difference.
We are grateful to every individual and organization that contributes time, expertise, resources, advocacy, and financial support to Reach Out Grand Bahama.
